Beyond Words Art Gallery

The Beyond Words art gallery is located in the Nancy A. McDonough Geschke Library between the luxurious wood-paneled Fisher Room and the circulation area. The gallery features work by Michigan artists. In the past few years, it has exhibited work in two dimensional media, sculpture, ceramics and installation.

The gallery opened in Febuary 2001, and has had a full schedule of exhibtions since then. The space has 14-foot-high ceilings and 10-foot-high windows, which create a spacious and well lit environment. It is most suitable for one-person exhibitions ranging from 10 to 24 works, depending on their size. The gallery is open the same hours as the Library.
